Getting there
Flying: We are served by two excellent regional airports - Carcassonne Salvaza airport (40 mins drive) and Toulouse Blagnac airport (50 mins drive).
Carcassonne Salvaza airport is served by Ryanair, flying in from Liverpool (Sat), East Midlands (Fri/Sat/Sun), London Stansted (Fri/Sat/Sun), Cork (Sat), Dublin (Sat), Shannon (Sat) and Brussels (Fri/Sat/Sun).
Toulouse Blagnac airport is served by Easyjet, flying in from Bristol (Sat), London Gatwick (Sat), Lyon (Fri/Sun), Madrid (Fri/Sun) and Paris Orly (Sat).
Perpignan-Rivesaltes Airport is also only about 90 minutes away, also served by Ryanair (London Stansted (Sat); Birmingham (Sun); and Brussels (Sat)) and BMI Baby (Manchester (Sat)).
Train: TGV runs to both Toulouse and Perpignan. But book early - these get booked up very early!
Car: Calais to Les Armengauds takes approximately 9-10 hours. If you have the time, this is a fantastic choice, taking you past historical sites, beautiful landscapes and of course the iconic cities of Paris, Orléans, Limoges and Toulouse.
