REVEL: This is the nearest town to Les Armengauds (8km) and offers an excellent range of restaurants and shops. It is famous for its "Art Meubles" with exquisite furniture shops lining the main road into the town. The other feature is the Saturday market where you can amble around the main square and see, smell and taste real French life at its best!

| Dining - Revel has a number of excellent restaurants and cafes: including the Hotel de Revel (for that special treat), Au Rosier d'Autan (on the main square), Crêperie Bretonne, several cafes around the main square, and lots of pizza places if you need a quick bite. |
| Swimming (July/August) - Fantastic, clean, well-run (life guards with discipline and commanding respect!) outdoor pools. Actually three pools: from a large, gentle sloping paddling pool; a small, splash pool; and a large, serious-swimmer pool. Entry is very reasonable (Eur2.60 for the day), but do remember, lads - bring your Speedos (no swimming shorts allowed). |
